Prayer and Reflection

Campaign Prayer

"Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Do not zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not claim to be wiser than you are. Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all. If it possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all"

Romans 12:9-18

Weekly Reflection

(Check in each Sunday for weekly updates)

On Friday, President Trump signed a historic and long overdue bill to reform the tax code and provide needed tax relief to most Americans and Corporations.  We have already heard the excitement from Americans whose budgets have loosened and plans from Corporations to expand, donate and distribute bonuses to their employees.  Consumer optimism and the stock market are at an all time high and we are poised to continue growing economically as a nation.

As we move into an era of new prosperity, I encourage you all to choose charity with your newly found gains.  Instead of that new toy or experience, seek to share with those in need.  Give to youth education and opportunities to expand a child's horizons and worldview.  Build the children so that some day they may in turn build others.  Share your time, money and passion with organizations that support the homeless, hungry or victims of domestic violence and drug abuse.  Open your heart to the realities of others lives.  Honor and respect your fellow man.  Put yourself in their shoes and see their troubles and struggles and work to lift their hearts and unburden their minds.  Give selflessly and I guarantee you will be repaid in love and blessings by the world around you.

Have a great week!  Go in Peace and Serve the Lord.  God Bless!
